Favorite Fashion Era
From analyzing all the fashion eras, I have to say that my favorite clothing era has to be the 80's! During that time many major events occurred, for example Pac-Man Video Game Released,New Plague Identified as AIDS, Michael Jackson Releases Thriller, Sally Ride Becomes the First American Woman in Space, Halley's Comet Passes, First PC Virus, Brain, Goes Viral, The Oprah Winfrey Show Gets National Syndication, World Wide Web Invented, and many more. Overall, from all these events, I could sort of see how fashion was created in this era, it was new times, where games were created, the internet, new music, etc and from that I can see how the oversize T shirts were brought in, converse, platforms, and big comfy clothing or shoes were in trend. As well as the hair! which i have always loved how it was frizzy and big. Also, I loved how they also had graphic tees, high waisted pants. One of my favorite trends will always be denim on denim. I feel like a lot of fashion trend have come back today. And I am happy about. Personally, I wear some 80 trends once in a while from my moms closet because she has kept clothing from when she was in her preteens, and I love just customizing it to a more modern style. ![]() |

Mood Board
Mood boards are design to evoke a feeling into the collection. It's to help gain more inspiration on what ever you're creating. While creating our mood board poster with our groups it helped us gain more ideas on what we really wanted. Looking through the fashion magazines it expanded our ways of thinking and added new garments into our minds. Overall our collection is the fierce, strong feminine side of a women, but yet soft and delicate. To be more specific we are going for a fierce pure woman.

Selena Gomez’s Fashion Evolution
From Disney star to Vogue cover girl, Selena's fashion has evolved quite a lot. At first her sense of style was too loose fitted, and it seemed to me she was more shy, edgy, and was still experimenting on maybe was she liked and what she didn't. And that absolutely OK, because she started as a young girl. Throughout time she started changing to becoming more conservative, classy, and sophisticated, to that I felt like she looked a bit to mature and was dressing like she was in her early 30's. Lastly to her big turnaround was to becoming more feminist, with confident looks, fitted, and chic as well. I personally have always loved her since of style since 2013. I think that the year she changed up her whole wardrobe, into something more herself and something more fierce...Which I love! Above all, I believe everyone first has to experiment on what looks good in them hat doesn't and learn from that as well

Anniesa Hasibuan's
"Fashion is an open world," said Anniesa Hasibuan. "It should be providing opportunities for everybody." Anniesa Hasibuan's statement last year at her New York Fashion Week debut sent all her models down the runway wearing hijabs...a first at NYFW! I love it how artist, designers, photographers, etc create a statement through their own work. I personally love the way Anniesa Hasibuan's work played off here. Anniesa Hasibuan's "For me, fashion is an open world. It should be providing opportunities for everybody. So we don't differentiate people," a soft-spoken Hasibuan told Fashionista, via interpreter, backstage before the show. "Diversity is a beautiful value that everybody should embrace." Trump becoming a president has impacted many people lives through word of actions, but that does not stop a persons right to speak through their minds. We as society need to all come together and reinforced this nation, before it's too late. And also we should consider the fact that we need to start speaking up. We all have a voice to be heard. I hope this message gets to everyone. We are a free nation. We are humans. We are equal. We are diverse.
